In February 2009, Afrigos Film & Media Academy started as “Zenith Film Institute” and opened its doors to its first short course in filmmaking, it trained many young actors giving majority of them their first screen experience. Our joy is that by now, many of those first timers and students are now prominent faces on screen (both the small and the big screen). Before we metamorphosed our present day’s more standardized “Afrigos Film & Media Academy” in February 2013, we had done the hard job of training grassroots talents and introducing them to world best practice. Amongst the evidences of our groundbreaking efforts are two Award-winning filmmakers on the continent of Africa today; whose career journey started at this great institution: Hafisu Bello (AMVC 2015-Hausa Category) and C. J (Fiery) Obasi (OJUJU).

The benefits of attending a doing Film School where all lecturers are active industry players such as Afrigos Film & Media Academy are too numerous to mention. Whatever programme you choose, whether it is the Undergraduate Diploma, Certificate of Proficiency, Short Courses or Part-Time Courses, we look forward to welcoming you to the Academy and to help you navigate your path through the very rewarding but complex world of Film.

The Afrigos Film & Media Academy is Arguably, the most affordable private Film School in Nigeria. For details of Afrigos Film & Media Academy School Fees, visit our website: www.afrigosmedia.tv or call the admissions office: 08116168420 or 08037761265 or 07065869002.
