YABATECH Matriculation Ceremony for Freshmen 2015/16

Yaba College of Technology, YABATECH matriculation date for the 2015/2016 newly admitted students has been announced.

The management of the Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has announced the details of the 2015/2016 academic session Matriculation Ceremony for students admitted into its full-time and part-time programmes.

Newly admitted students into Yaba College of Technology for the 2015/2016 academic session will officially swear to oath of allegiance to the College on Friday, July 29, at the Sports Pavillion in the College.
A circular signed by Mrs. T. A. Obadimu, a Deputy Registrar in the Registry Unit stated that both full and part time students will participate in the ceremony.
Interested matriculants have been advised to collect academic gowns from their respective School Officers.
Obadimu, solicited on behalf of the Management, the cooperation of the College community to ensure a hitch free ceremony.

YABATECH 2016 youth skills competition application

Yaba College of Technology, YABATECH 2016 youth skills competition application form is still on.

Interested students of Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech) are now free to apply for participation in the 2016 Youth Skills Competition first announced May 15, by the Yabatech UNEVOC Centre. The competition rounds off June 30.
 Code named the Face of Technical/Vocational Education and Training in Yabatech,the competition is part of efforts to mark the 2016 World Skills Day scheduled for July 15.
 According to the Coordinator, Yabatech UNEVOC Centre, Dr. Funmilayo Doherty, the competition is dedicated to Yabatech students from May 20 to June 30 2016. The aim is to showcase and promote the unique and relevant technical and vocational skills acquired by students in the course of their training in Yabatech.
Criteria for participation
Wide range of photos of skills or talents that capture moments of education and training in the College – in action! Skills or project can be group or individual work. It could be, but not limited to, photos capturing your sessions/talents during project work, practical sessions, moments of learning inside and outside the studios, classrooms, workshops, laboratories, a picture of you and your friends taking part in a local community project or during entrepreneurial projects. We want to see examples of skills development in action!
Submission procedure
  • To login visit  www.iuacademy.com.ng
  • Click on the link Fill the Competition Form on the website 
  • Register by indicating your first name, last name, matriculation number, department, level, email address, telephone number  and a short description of the photograph(s)
  • After registering, send a mail with your photograph(s) attached from the email address you indicated when registering and send to wysdyct2016@iuacademy.com.ng with your matriculation number
  • The competition is open to all students of Yaba College of Technology at all levels
  •   Winners will be notified via email and shortlisted photos will be showcased at the exhibition during the United Nations? World Youth Skills Day on July 15, 2016
  • Deadline for Submission: June 30, 2016

YABATECH ID Card Registration Details For [Full & Part Time Students]

Yaba College of Technology, YABATECH  ID card registration details for the  full-time and part-time students of the institution for the 2015/2016 academic session.

Yabatech ID Card registration Details

Authorities of the Yaba College of Technology (YABTECH), Lagos, have released a circular to inform all the full-time and part-time students that the capturing of image for production of students Identity Cards for 2015/2016 Academic session has commenced.
All registered Full Time  and Part-time students are  to appear for image capturing at :
  • VENUE: Sport Complex
  • TIME: 10.00am -5.pm
Further more, students that applied for replacement of identity cards are also advised to appear for image capturing at the College Sport Complex between 10:00am to 5:00pm.
