YABATECH 2016 youth skills competition application

Yaba College of Technology, YABATECH 2016 youth skills competition application form is still on.

Yabatech skills competition
Interested students of Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech) are now free to apply for participation in the 2016 Youth Skills Competition first announced May 15, by the Yabatech UNEVOC Centre. The competition rounds off June 30.
 Code named the Face of Technical/Vocational Education and Training in Yabatech,the competition is part of efforts to mark the 2016 World Skills Day scheduled for July 15.
 According to the Coordinator, Yabatech UNEVOC Centre, Dr. Funmilayo Doherty, the competition is dedicated to Yabatech students from May 20 to June 30 2016. The aim is to showcase and promote the unique and relevant technical and vocational skills acquired by students in the course of their training in Yabatech.
Criteria for participation
Wide range of photos of skills or talents that capture moments of education and training in the College – in action! Skills or project can be group or individual work. It could be, but not limited to, photos capturing your sessions/talents during project work, practical sessions, moments of learning inside and outside the studios, classrooms, workshops, laboratories, a picture of you and your friends taking part in a local community project or during entrepreneurial projects. We want to see examples of skills development in action!
Submission procedure
  • To login visit  www.iuacademy.com.ng
  • Click on the link Fill the Competition Form on the website 
  • Register by indicating your first name, last name, matriculation number, department, level, email address, telephone number  and a short description of the photograph(s)
  • After registering, send a mail with your photograph(s) attached from the email address you indicated when registering and send to wysdyct2016@iuacademy.com.ng with your matriculation number
  • The competition is open to all students of Yaba College of Technology at all levels
  •   Winners will be notified via email and shortlisted photos will be showcased at the exhibition during the United Nations? World Youth Skills Day on July 15, 2016
  • Deadline for Submission: June 30, 2016

BENEFIT OF PARTICIPATING    
  1. Winners will be showcased internationally by the UNESCO-UNEVOC International centre in Born, Germany.
