This is to inform the general public that the management of the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) is inviting suitably qualified candidates to its  various undergraduate programmes admission for the 2016/2017 academic session.

The following candidates are hereby invited for screening exercise on Saturday, 9th July, 2016.

Candidates Qualified to Attend ABUAD Screening Exercise.

Candidates that qualify to participate in the screening exercise are:

1. Those who possess relevant 5 Credit passes in WAEC O/L or its equivalent and have sought admission into 100 Level through 2016 UTME and who met the 180 national cut off mark.
2. Those awaiting SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, IJMB results and also participated in the 2016 UTME.
3. Those seeking admission into 200 Level (Direct Entry) with minimum of 2 A/Level passes in relevant subjects or NCE/OND/HND in accredited courses listed in the JAMB Brochure except for Law, Medicine and Surgery. (Note: HND holders seeking conversion to degree shall undertake 2-3 years study depending on the course of study).
4. Direct Entry into Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc – 4 years): Those who possess NRN/RM are eligible to apply.
5. Direct Entry into all Degree Programmes in Engineering is available – Minimum requirement: ND/HND with Credit Pass.
6. Direct Entry into Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS – 4 years) – Holders of B.Sc in Physiology, Biochemistry, Anatomy, MLT, HND in SLT with minimum of Second ClassLower are eligible and must possess Credit Pass in 5 O’Level relevant subjects.

ABUAD Screening Requirements.

Applicants must bring to the Screening Centres, the following documents viz.

1. Print out of 2016 JAMB UTME Result Slip
2. Completed Bio-Data Application Form.
3. Copies of the Ordinary Level Result (If Available)
4. Original copy of Birth Certificate
5. Testimonial from last school attended.
6. Reference Letter from a well known/reputable public figure to vouchsafe the candidate’s character of good conduct.
7. Two (12) Recent Passport Photographs
8. Writing Materials (Pencil, Pen, Eraser, and Non Scientific Calculator)
9. Evidence of payment (Bank tellers) for Centre Screening (The cost covers honoraria for centre facilitation, logistics for producing screening materials and security)
10. Completed Form for Change Of University (for applicants changing to ABUAD)

ABUAD – Criteria for Screening and Mode of Assessment.

The mode of screening for candidates during the exercise shall include a Personality Assessment Interaction (PAI) and a qualitative assessment as follows:

• COLLEGE OF LAW: Knowledge of current affairs, verbal, analytical and perceptual reasoning (CAVAP)
• COLLEGE OF MEDICINE AND HEALTH SCIENCES: Knowledge of science, spatial, numerical and perceptual reasoning (SSNP)
• COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING: Technical ability, numerical reasoning and acuity skilIs (TANAS)
• COLLEGE OF SCIENCES: Knowledge of science, analytical skills and perceptual reasoning (SASP)
• COLLEGE OF SOCIAL AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES: Acuity, spatial, analytical skills and perceptual reasoning (ASASP)

Note: All candidates are advised to be properly dressed. This is essential at the Personality Assessment Interaction (PAI). All Applicants should also arrive at the screening venue at least 30 minutes before the exercise commences.

FUPRE Post UTME / Admission Screening Form is Out – 2016/17

Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, FUPRE post UTME screening exercise application form for admission into ALL COURSES/PROGRAMMES for the 2016/2017 academic session is now on sale.

Candidates That Are Eligible for FUPRE Post UTME.

Candidates who made the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun their Choice in the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and had a total score of 180 and above are eligible to take part in FUPRE Post UTME Screening Exercise.
Only candidates who have five (5) credits at one or two sittings (including English Language and Mathematics) are eligible to apply. Candidates awaiting results may, however, be considered for the 2016/2017 Admissions Exercise.

FUPRE Post UTME Registration Procedures.

1) Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only as screening fee and One Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N1,500) for past questions, plus processing/other charges.
2) Applicants should visit www.fupre.edu.ng from Friday, 24th June to Wednesday, 6th July 2016 to register.

– Login with your JAMB Registration Number and Password after registration to download Past Questions.
Take note of the following:-
1. Candidates should scan and upload their recent colour Passport Photographs (taken on red background) of not more than 50KB in JPEG format in the space provided on the on-line registration form.
2. Note that any entry form without valid passport photograph uploaded on it will not be accepted. The uploaded passport photograph will be the only valid I.D for all admitted students throughout their studentship in the University.
3. Candidates should ensure that the on-line forms are carefully filled. Candidates should follow ALL necessary instructions as purported “Mistake(s)” may lead to disqualification. Note also that deliberate disregard of instruction or failure to comply with the instructions may disqualify a candidate.
4. Please ensure that you use a password that you can remember to enable you access your result later.
5. Preview your online completed form and confirm all information. Thereafter print a copy of your form before submitting. Corrections are not allowed after submission.

NOUN Introduces B.Sc in International and Diplomatic Studies Programme

National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN has introduced B.Sc in International and Diplomatic Studies for admission in the 2016/2017 academic session.

This is to inform all the candidates seeking admission into the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) that the management of the institution has introduced B.Sc. INTERNATIONAL AND DIPLOMATIC STUDIES.
 B.Sc. INTERNATIONAL AND DIPLOMATIC STUDIES is now available for admission, under the faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, commencing from June 2016.
Interested candidates who meet the admission requirements can now enroll.

LASU Notice to Candidates Whose Chosen Courses Are Not Available – 2016/17

Lagos State University, LASU notice to candidates whose chosen courses are not available in the 2016/2017 academic session.

It has been observed that some candidates who chose the Lagos State University as their choice of institution (1st or 2nd) have not been able to register for the 2016/2017 admission screening exercise as a result of non-availability of their chosen courses during the 2016/2017 Academic session. The affected courses are Business Administration, English Language, French, Yoruba & Communication Arts and Philosophy.
In view of this, the affected candidates in respect of the listed programmes have been given the option of changing their choice of courses to any course relating to their 1^st choice of course, FOR WHICH THEY ARE QUALIFIED.
1.)   Candidates changing course from Business Administration to related courses must possess Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two (2) other relevant subjects, applicable to their new choice of course.
2.)   Candidates changing course from English Language to related courses must possess Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Literature in English and three (3) other subjects, applicable to their new choice of course.
3.)   Candidates changing course from French to related courses must possess Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language and French plus at least one (1) other Arts subject.
4.)   Candidates changing course from Yoruba & Communication Arts to related courses must possess Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Yoruba, plus any other three (3) subjects.
5.)   Candidates changing course from Philosophy to related courses must possess Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, and four (4) other Arts or Social Sciences subjects.
In addition to this, candidates must ensure that their UTME subject combinations of their 1^st choice of courses are related to the UTME subject combinations of their new chosen courses (please consult the 2016/2017 JAMB Brochure for detailed information).

LASU Law (LL.B) Admission Screening Form is Out – 2016/17

Lagos State University, LASU Law (LL.B) programme admission screening form for the 2016/2017 academic session is now on sale.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Lagos State University (LASU) Law (LL.B) programme during the 2016/2017 admission process.

LASU LL.B Admission Eligibility.

To be eligible for participation in the screening exercise, the underlisted conditions must be met by any prospective candidate.

1. Candidates must have chosen Lagos State University as University of first Choice (more preferred) and must have scored a minimum of 190 marks in the UTME.
2. Candidates must have relevant subject combinations in WAEC/NECO and JAMB, i.e. Five ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Literature in English and Mathematics plus any other two (2) subjects. While UTME subject combinations should be English Language and Literature in English plus any other two (2) subjects.

NOTE, please, that anybody that did not choose the Lagos State University as their choice of institution, will be disqualified, on registration without refund of registration fee.

LASU 2nd Choice Candidates Post UTME Details – 2016/2017

Lagos State University, LASU second round post UTME / admission screening details for the 2016/2017 academic session .

This is to inform all the candidates that who chose the Lagos State University (LASU) as 2nd (preferred) choice of institution in the last UTME that their screening exercise will hold in August, 2016.
It has been brought to the attention of the University that candidates who chose LASU as 2nd (preferred) choice of institution are facing some challenges in registering for the 2016/2017 admission screening exercise.
Please be informed that:

1. a) Your Screening Exercise will commence after the receipt of the 2nd choice Omnibus list from JAMB after the conclusion of the 1st round of the screening exercise.
2. b) Screening exercise for candidates who chose LASU as 2nd choice of institution will take place in August, 2016. However, information in relation to this second (2nd) round of screening will be placed on LASU website.
3. c) You must constantly check LASU website for announcement on the time-table for the Screening Exercise for candidate in your category.
4. d) Spaces have been reserved for second (2nd) choice candidates for the purpose of this exercise. 
5. e) Candidates that did not chose LASU are not QUALIFIED for screening. However; if such candidates apply, they will not only be DISQUALIFIED, but would also forfeit whatever payment made, as it is NON-REFUNDABLE.
6. f) Candidates that have earlier made payment (1st and 2nd choice) for the screening exercise are assured that they will be considered for the 2016/2017 screening exercise as appropriate.  

 NOTE:  No space is available for candidates that did not choose LASU as University of choice.
