UNILORIN Produces 67 First Class As 8,038 Students Graduate

A total of 67 out of 8,038 graduating students of University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) will be awarded with first class honours during the institutions 32nd Convocation Ceremony that comes up on Friday and Saturday.

According to the Vice Chanvellor, Professor AbdulGaniyu Ambali said the graduating students “comprise 1,903 post graduates,6069 under graduates of first degree and 66 diploma graduates.

“Of our 6,069 first degree graduands 67 of them made the first class grade and 1,505 made second class upper division grade. Additionally, we have 3,200 second class lower division,1,124 third Class division and 70 pass.Those who had pass were 82 last year. The MB:BS graduands during the session are 103”.

He stated that the university has achieved giant strides in the last few years under his watch which has earned it the number one choice for admission seekers.

JIGPOLY Admission Screening Registration 2016/2017 Announced

The management of Jigawa State Polytechnic (JIGPOLY) has officially announced its 2016/2017 application into ND programs

Interested applicant should visit http://oaa.flexisaf.com:8080/jigpoly/ and follow the procedures below:

ACCOUNT ACTIVATION
1. Click on new applicant.
2. Enter your name, and a valid phone number (ensure that it is your phone number for it will be used in subsequent communication with you).
3. A confirmation code will be sent to your phone.
4. Use the code sent to activate your account.
5. You will be redirected to the login page.

LOGIN
1. Use your phone number (The one you entered earlier) as your Username as well as password.
2. A successful login will take you to the welcome page.

PAYMENT
Confirm your information on the page and proceed to select a payment method. After a successful payment, you would proceed to fill your application form. You are required to enter your personal information including your names and other relevant information. A valid phone number is required which is going to be the primary communication medium in regards to your application.

CHOICE OF PROGRAMME
You are required to select the choice of your programme of study from the list of available programmes.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
i) You are expected to enter not more than two sittings of O’level Examination results ii) In addition to the above, DE applicants are expected to enter institution, class of diploma/statement of result obtained (ND, HND, NCE, A’level). iii) You are expected to enter grade details of relevant O’level results (SSCE/WAEC/GCE/NECO/TCII etc). iv) You are also required to specify the centre number and exam number of all the results you have entered..

UPLOADING YOUR PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH
You are required to upload your recent passport photograph that is very clear and with a plain background. The picture should be a JPEG format and not more than 50kb in size..

APPLICATION SUBMISSION
After filling all the necessary information, you should submit the application by clicking on the 'Submit application’ button. Before final submission of the application, cross check to ensure all the information are correct. This is because after any of the information..

PRINTING OF APPLICATION FORM
After successful submission of the application, your application page is displayed. The Serial Number on your slip is your Application ID as well as your login username. Click on Print Application to print it..

AT SCREENING CENTERS.
Before your application can be processed, you must attend the screening in person. i) You are required to present the originals of your relevant credentials (O' level results, JAMB result/acknowledgment slip, A’ level results, diploma or IJMB - as applicable to you.). ii) Photocopies of all results presented will be submitted at the center. iii) The photocopy of O’level certificate/statement of result(s) will be accompanied by appropriate utility card (scratch card for accessing result) of the examination body. iv) You are to submit photocopy of indigene letter, certificate of birth/declaration of age and a copy of the printed post UTME application form.

APPLICATION STATUS
You will be contacted via SMS on your phone for the date, time and venue for your screening.

Al-Hikmah University Course Registration Procedure 2016/2017

This is to inform all students that the University Senate of Al-Hikmah University has approved a new procedure for registration of Courses as follows:

Step One - Payment of School fees.

Step Two - After payment, students should proceed to their Level Advisers for Courses to register for. (Departments are to design a form to this effect).

Step Three - Students proceed to register on-line and print 4 copies of the registered courses.

Step Four - Students take the printed course forms to the Level Adviser for confirmation and endorsement.

Step Five - The Level Adviser will forward the endorsed course forms to the Head of Department who will endorse and forward same to the Dean for endorsement.

Step Six - College Officers will forward the forms to the Deputy Registrar(Academic) after their endorsement.

Step Seven - Academic Office will endorse and distribute the forms appropriately.

Deadline for Course Registration
The deadline for Course registration is 30th November of every Academic Session.

Late registration for Courses which will attract a fine of Five thousand Naira (N5,000) per week will begin on 1 st – 31 st December of every Academic Session. Students that fail to register for Courses as at 31 st December of every Academic Session will be deemed to have voluntarily withdrawn from the University.

 The authorities of the Kaduna Polytechnic (KADPOLY) have released the National Diploma (ND) full-time admission list for the 2016/2017 academic session.
Kaduna Polytechnic admission list has been successfully uploaded online and it is accessible from the polytechnic admission status checking portal.

Important Information for the Federal Polytechnic Offa 2010/2011, 2011/2012, 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 graduands regarding the polytechnic 8th convocation ceremonies.


Information to Graduands
i. All graduands are expected to be physically present at the ceremony to receive their Diplomas, Certificates and Prizes.
ii. Graduands are to collect their Graduation kits (academic gown, one (1) invitation card, scroll and brochure etc.) from their various School Officers from Monday, 10 October, 2016, having obtained REMITA payment code from the Cash Office to pay online, the sum of N5, 000. 00 (Five Thousand Naira Only), into Federal Government’s Treasury Single Account (TSA).
iii. There will be a refund of N1, 000. 00 upon the return of the Academic Gown to the Academic Affairs Office at the Main Campus not later than close of work on Monday, 24 October, 2016. However, for any damaged gown, there will be a surcharge while certificates will not be released to those who fail to return their gowns.
iv. Graduands will be responsible for the transportation, accommodation and feeding of their own guests.
v. All graduands are expected to be seated at the Convocation Arena by 07:30a.m.
vi. We wish you all journey mercies.
Guidelines for Collection of Certificates (ND & HND)
• Graduates who have previously collected genuine statements of Result and Testimonial should bring along the following:
• A genuine identification item such as the National ID Card or International Passport or Drivers Licence.
• Two (2) standard passport-sized photographs
• Obtain REMITA payment code from the Cash Office to pay online, the sum of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000. 00) Only per certificate, into Federal Government’s Treasury Single Account (TSA)
• Present receipt of payment at Academic Affairs Unit for collection of the Certificates.

Note: Collection of Certificates by Proxy will not be honoured.
